Upcoming posts & More about me!
Hi everyone! Guess who had their first exam today? Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Anyway, I figured I'd write up a small post 1) about the posts I'm planning to write this month and 2) a bit about me and my life right now! I figured that I haven't really 'personalized' my blog much, in regards to having posts updating y'all about my daily life and such. So-

Spring/Summer Wishlist 2013
Hi everyone ~ For a change of pace from my usual reviews, I thought I'd show y'all some things I'm lusting after! :D I've split it up into four different categories- 1) makeup 2) skincare 3) fashion 4) other. My birthday is in late August, so hopefully I'll get some of these things for that! ~ God bless if you actually read all of this.
SKINCARE
I'm feeling pretty happy with my skincare routine as it is- I'm happy with the results and will continue using all of my products until they're empty. But once they're empty... ;)
1) Mizon Snail Recovery Gel I've read nothing but great reviews about this! It's quite cheap ($6 on ebay hollaaaa) and has 75% snail filtrate or something. I'd like to use it during the summer months for a lighter moisturizer, since I'll be in Texas!
2) Makeup Artist's Choice 40% Lactic Acid peels- a western product! It's a very reasonably priced peel (I think some people use their trial bottles for a few months easily) that is supposed to be super effective for fading hyperpigmentation.
3) Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator: I'm in need of a gentle and non-damaging physical scrub to get rid of some flaky skin I get from my daily/weekly AHA exfoliations. Someone on reddit recommended this for me, and it has a toooonnn of very promising reviews~
4) Mizon Multifunction Formula Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule: I actually bought a snail filtrate ampoule recently that I'll review sometime, but that was an impulse buy and I couldn't find any reviews on it. This one has solid reviews and I'm slowly becoming obsessed with using Mizon's snail products.
5) Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence: I've heard mixed reviews on this... some absolutely adore it, and a couple haven't seen any results. I'm hopeful that I'll be one of the majority and experience some excellent skin tone-evening, anti-aging, general skin-bettering action with this toner.
6) MBD Sake Yeast Sheet Mask (10)- I said I wanted a box of them, and I'm going to have a box of them damnit.
MAKE-UP
This isn't even everything I want...
1) Cat Chu Wink Lip Sticks in colors .#1 Peach Vanilla, #5 Red Cat, and #7 Salmon Pink.
2) Lioele Auto-Eyebrow in Dark Brown- I'm not actually sure what color I'd need, but I want to experiment with filling in my brows.
3) Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base in Mint- I need a base. Everyone loves it. Cute packaging.
4) It's Skin Babyface Petit Blusher in #1 Lovely Pink- I'm in need of more blush than just my single Nars Orgasm, and this is adorable, cheap, and has good reviews!
5) Peripera Peri's Tint Jelly in Pink & Orange- I don't have either of those colors for lippies, and both seem useful. I really like my Peripera lip tint, so I'd imagine that these are of similar quality!
6) Dolly Wink Eyelash Fix in Clear- I plan on wearing my falsies out a lot more this summer and next school year, and I'll need a good glue for them. I really like the Dolly Wink eyelash glue that came with the pairs of eyelashes I have, so why not buy the full size?
8) Etude House Look at my Eye's Duets Orange Disco & Pink Soul
FASHION
Baaaasically a bunch of Taobao blouses and sweaters, haha. I'm definitely stocking up on sweaters, as you'll see once my first Taobao order (fucking eventually) comes in! I have an idea in my head of how I'll dress inspired by this illustration. Anyone have any opinions or suggestions about where to find clothes like that? C:
OTHER
1) Etude House Juicy Cocktail Gradation nail polishes in Princess Mary, Love Violet, and Screw Driver. Possibly other colors... possibly all of them. They look sooo lovely and I've only heard good reviews about them!
2) Jetoy Choo Choo notebooks! I want to be as cute as possible for my exchange year! Which starts in August. I don't know if any of you guys know this, but I'm going to the University of Oslo for my third year of university, as part of my degree. Jeg snakker litt norsk, in case I have any Norwegian readers besides my boyfriend. Hopefully in not too long I'll be fluent yay :D
3) Three 3DS games for my 3DS XL! I believe that my boyfriend is buying me the new Animal Crossing for our anniversary in June, which I am irrationally excited about. I might ask for one of the other 3DS games for my birthday from my brother, we'll see. I'll buy the last one with my $$$ from working over the summer like the responsible young adult I am.

Tony Moly Cats Wink Mascara #1 (Volume and Long Lash)

RoseRoseShop and Sasa Combined Haul
Some of you may be familiar with the ebay seller Rubyruby76- they have a webstore as well that sells the same products. I can't be bothered with ebay, so I just bought it off of their webstore. Anyway, my RoseRoseShop and my Sasa orders arrived within a day of each other, so I figured that I would write up a haul post for both at once!
Everything, plus some samples!

Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream Review
Hi everyone! I decided to write a review on a popular BB cream- Lioele's Triple the Solution! I've tried maybe 7 or 8 BB creams (Skin79 pink label, Missha Cho Bo Yang, Lioele Beyond the Solution, Lioele Triple the Solution, and a few samples) but this one is probably the best of them. It's not perfect for me by any means, but it does the job. Read on to find out more!

My Beauty Diary Red Vine Mask Review
Sorry for the lack of activity! This will be remedied over the next couple of week- expect lots of makeup reviews including some Lioele and Missha BB creams, and Tony Moly's super cute Cats Wink Mascara!
Anyway, this mask was something quite different from the masks I've chosen in the past- usually I buy brightening/whitening masks, but MBD's Red Vine mask is more focused on antioxidants and firming skin. I figured that some more antioxidants couldn't hurt, so here I am. Read on to find out how I liked the mask! :)

Quick update~
Hi! Sorry for the lack of posts, I'm on my Spring break and I've been out of the country for awhile! I'm in Oslo right now visiting my boyfriend, but I plan on posting a review or two tomorrow! :) I will return to my normal post frequency at the end of next week!

Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar Review (cherry + peach)
Hi everyone!! I'm finally going to review two versions of a very popular product- Tony Moly's Petite Bunny Gloss Bar! I have both the Juicy Peach and Juicy Cherry version, so I decided to do a two-in-one review. :)
Because of that, I'll get a few of the basics for both out of the way after the jump ~

Quick Mini Nyx Haul!
I know this is a primarily Asian-focused beauty/fashion/whatever, but I got some new stuff in from Nyx that I thought I would share. If anyone is interested in a review, please let me know! I got it b/c I'm thinking of trying out the Gyaru look, but I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on MAC lipsticks or anything.
For a quick run through:
Eye pencils- good
Lip glosses- really good
Pink Nude lipstick- really good
Pure red lipstick- poop

New layout and a KoCo Mall Haul + Review
I'm not sure if anyone checks my blog regularly enough to notice, but... new layout! I downloaded a trial of Photoshop and had some fun coming up with a layout. Please let me know if you have any feedback about it, positive or negative! I also have a bright sky blue version that I can use, if this one isn't popular. C:
Anyway, on to the haul + review!!
Someone linked to this new website KoCo Mall on a Asian Beauty 'forum' I frequent, and... the prices. It was just too much for me to resist. I caved.
From what I understand, KoCo Mall is just the online shop from what was a popular and reputable Amazon seller Seoulglamour. Seoulglamour closed their Amazon store in favor of creating their own website. All of the products I recieved are real as far as I can tell right now, but just comparing the Tony Moly gloss bar to one I got from Yesstyle, I see no reason to worry that they're fake! (:
Anyway, I'm just going to do a quick review on my experience shopping with them, then post haul pix.
So, the website is nice, professional, well organized, and has a variety of popular Korean brands. They currently have a $5 voucher when you sign up with them, which I used for my purchase. I think you have to spend a certain amount of money befor eyou can use it ($10 maybe?) but still, $5 covers quite a few products at those prices, so it's definitely worth taking advantage of!
Something I really liked was that they shipped out so fast- my product was shipped within 12 hours of me placing an order, which was really awesome. I also recieved the package quite quickly- it shipped out on the 22nd of March, and I recieved it on the 2nd of April. That's like 6(do saturdays count?) working days, which was pretty damn good from my experiences.
Their English is pretty good and I had no issues with communicating with them. They use Korea Mail for their packages, aaaaand they definitely helped me avoid customs fees, if you knowww whaat I meeaaan. ;) I really appreciated that, especially since I've been hit with stupid fees the past few times (£12 customs fees on £12 worth of stuff, what?). So yea, I would definitely recommend KoCo Mall for ordering from in the future. A lot of their prices beat Sasa, and they have some things that Sasa doesn't!~
And now for the haul!!

No box, which isn't awesome but it's not terrible. Considering the prices of the products, I'm not complaining.
It was definitely well wrapped, so atleast that was nice (:
They included 10(!!) free samples of all sorts of cute Korean products, which I really appreciated. There will definitely be some mini-reviews coming up for some of those!
Etude House Missing U hand cream, in their peach version!
It smells like HEAVEN and is sooo cuuuute. The container is reusable as well! Super happy with it.
Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Sleeping Mask
I've heard so many great things about this, so I'm really looking forward to using it. C:
Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar - Juicy Cherry
I've used this already and I'm really happy with it! It's a bit pinker than I wanted, but still a really good color. A review of this and my peach one will be up next week ~
SkinFood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream.
I have really dark undereye circles, and all the reviews I read said that this was actually really effective, so we will see! It smells amazing, so atleast there's that if nothing else!
So yea, that's about it for now. Have you ordered from KoCo mall or tried any of these products? If so, what have you though? I'll be posting another review later this week, so look out for it!

Lioele A.C. Control Spot Patch Review
I bought these on a whim around Christmas time last year (2012), and now I've been using them long enough for me to be comfortable with reviewing them.
Where to buy:
lioeletexas.com - $7.20
prettyandcute.com - $7.20
keautystore.com - $7.20
Description: Lioele's A.C. Control Trouble Patches help to relieve and care for troubled skin. It contains Salicylic Acid & Tea Tree Oil to help disinfect the area as well as reduce redness and assists with healing. If you feel a pimple arising, place a sticker patch directly onto the area. For best results, place onto the spot directly and leave for 8-12 hours (overnight while sleeping) then remove and continue with regular skin care routine. (from prettyandcute.com)
Korean instructions~ It says to apply for 8-12 hours, but as you will see, that might not be enough!
Packaging: Nice enough. The container is just a semi-matte silver and hot pink box that is of decent quality. Nothing special, really. The little individual packets are just as adequete! You rip them open and then figure out how to get the transparent plastic sheet that has the little spot patches on it.
Scent: None that I noticed!
Swatch(??): As you can see, they're small and clear. I will admit that more than once I've gone outside without noticing I had them on until a few hours later when I notice it catching the light.
Already been opened, sorry! I was on my last one.
Scent: None that I noticed!
Swatch(??): As you can see, they're small and clear. I will admit that more than once I've gone outside without noticing I had them on until a few hours later when I notice it catching the light.
Results: Okay. So, the first 20 or so I used I was unimpressed. I was leaving them on for the recommended 8-12 hours, and while they helped with the swelling and irritation, it wasn't 'drawing out' the white stuff (gross right lol). It took me forgetting I had it on while spending over 24 hours in my room (in my pajamas, never going outside) to realize that for me, I had to leave them on for almost double the recommended time. But after 24 hours of keeping them on, they do a very good job of drawing the white pus out and helping clam down and heal the pimple.
They work especially well if you put them on as soon as you feel a pimple coming on! If you do that, then they'll generally calm the area and keep it from swelling and being painful. If you put one on that's not quite ready but hurts a lot, the patches are good at keeping you from picking at them or irritating them, which is also quite nice :)
My only real complaint is that I personally have to leave them on for basically a whole day for them to be as effective as possible. That means that I can't really go outside and do stuff if I want to completely get rid of the pimple, but since I'm really lame and spend a lot of time inside, it's not a huge problem.
I haven't tried any other acne patches, but I'm very happy with these so far. I'll probably be repurchasing them the next time I order from Lioele Texas or Pretty & Cute!
Conclusion: Final Score 4.4/5
Pros:
- work well
- fairly inconspicuous
- thin and comfortable
Cons:
- kind of hard to find (only three places I can think of besides ebay)
- can take a long time to draw out the white stuff
