Claims
~ Ultra fine brush for precise application
~ Deep black color
~ Waterproof
~ Sweat Proof
~ Smudge-Free
~ Smear-Free
~ Long lasting formula

Scent: No scent at all! C:

Close up of the pattern.

Packaging: Very girly! I thought the old packaging was a lot cuter, as I'm not really a fan of the shade of pink combined with a light purple, but whatever. Still pretty cute. I like how thin the pen is, though some might find it a bit too delicate. The tip allows for a lot of variety in how thick the line is, which is really nice! I find it a bit easier to draw precise lines with this versus my former eyeliner (Kat Von D tattoo liner). I think the tip is one of the things that makes this eyeliner great.

Swatch/Results: I'm a big fan of this eyeliner. As stated above, it allows me to have a lot of control over how thick/thin the line is. The tip is flexible and the eyeliner is dark. The eyeliner dries super quickly as well, which is great for avoiding smudges (sneezing when doing eye-makeup, the stuff of nightmares)! It lasts all day without flaking or getting smudge-y, but comes off fairly easily with some good eye makeup remover. I would say that the formula is water proof as well, as you can see in the picture below~ Over all it's just a fantastic eyeliner, I have absolutely no complaints... besides the price. It is definitely a bit on the pricier side of liquid eyeliners, but I think that the quality makes up for the price.

A variety of stroke widths!

This was after splashing some water on my hand and rubbing for about 10 seconds. Prreeettyy impressive in my opinion.

Conclusion: Final Score 5/5

Pros

  • long lasting
  • dries super quickly, so no risk of smudging
  • dark black!
  • tip allows for precise application
  • waterproof
  • cute packaging~

Cons
  • expensive
  • can be hard to find

  1. I had one of these before, but still with the old packaging. I guess they improved on the formula because my old one wasn't even very sweat or oil-proof for me. By the end of the day, it was slightly faded too, especially where I do my wing.

    1. I see, it sounds like they changed the formula then, yes. Cause in my Kose oil review it was literally impossible to remove haha. How long ago did you buy it?

  2. A bit more than I'd pay for it, probably. But I wonder how long it'll be before it'll try out? I have two eyeliners like that and they both dried out so fast. T_T Maybe it's because they were half the price. Lol. I'd just be interested in its life span. It does look good.

  3. The new formula seems pretty promising! o: I'm almost out of my current Dolly Wink liner (old packaging + formula) and K-Palette liner, so I might buy this again. c:

  4. I do think I've found the next eyeliner I'm going to try. I've resisted Dolly Wink's cute packaging for much too long. Thanks for the review!

  5. I have oily eyelids and I used the ones from their old package and it would fade in the middle of the day!

    1. Oh no! I don't have oily eyelids, but I haven't experienced that at all. Hopefully this new formula would work better?

  9. I'm glad you compared it with kat von d, I was thinking of picking that one up and now I'm more certain that I need the dolly wink liner ^_^

Currently I'm using the k-palette 24/7 tattoo and I like the pen a lot, but I want something BLACKER than black, lol. The dolly wink swatches look more opaque and black than my k-palette liner!
