My Beauty Diary Peach Soda Eyes & Lip Makeup Remover Review

Basically the perfect makeup remover. So. Cute. (Also effective, non-irritating, and non-greasy...)

Where to buy:
sasa.com - $12.90
prettyandcute.com - $14.55
yesstyle.com - $15.00

Description: My Beauty Diary Sweet teatime Peach Soda Eye & Lip Makeup Remover indulges your three senses include sight, smell and touch in sweetness by a wide range of sweet teatime products. This product line satisfies the taste bud in your skin, immersing your skin in sweetness and happiness This remover is very effective but not stimulating. There are two layers in the remover. With the peach layer, the remover has very strong cleansing effect. It can remove very heavy make up. The other layer that is the transparent layer impart the skins with adequate moisture, giving your skin a lot of hydration subsequent to cleansing. (from sasa.com)

Ingredients: Water, Isohexadecane, Hexylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Benzyl Alcohol, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Melissa Officinalis Extract, Poloxamer 184, Sodium Citrate, Benzalkonium Chloride, Citric Acid EDTA, Red 17, Violet 2.

Scent: No scent- I don't know what they mean in the description when they say it indulges your sense of smell... It even says fragrance-free.

Packaging: I'd be lying if I said that the cute packaging didn't influence my decision to buy this... It's so ADORABLE! ヽ(*・ω・)ノ I adore the pretty lace and the cute little illustrations, but the thing that gets to me the most is how the actual makeup remover is such a pretty shade of pink! And it has SPARKLES IN IT! Tiny tiny sparkles that don't change how effective it is, they just make it look even cuter!!!

On the other hand, the packaging is also the only thing I have a complaint about- the cap, specifically. I bought this before I went back to America for the summer, and on the plane trip over it leaked a bit and I lost like 1/4 of the product. :/ It was very disappointing, especially since you have to order it specifically and can't just go and pick it up at a store. Oh well. Consider this a warning in case you try to travel with it.

(︶︹︺) betrayal...

Swatch: The makeup remover consists of two different liquids that you use only after mixing them together!
Before Shaking
The actual color of the pink liquid is much lighter and pinker, and less red.

After Shaking
After shaking it, it combines to create a very sweet and peachy pink that makes me so happy when I use it!

Here's what a cotton pad with the makeup remover on it looks like- there's no noticeable color out of the bottle. Maybe a very slight pink tint.
Results: I'm so sorry you guys have to see this, but my makeup looked terrible so I just cropped it to my eyes, but they look really bad. I'M SORRY. Anyway you can see that it removed my eyeliner, mascara, and some of the concealer I had under my eye! No irritation, drying, or greasiness!

Anyway, I'm really just super pleased with this product. It's miles better than my old ugly Neutrogena oil free makeup remover, and I can't imagine switching back. It's super effective, non-irritating, and adorable. What more could you ask for?

Conclusion: Final Score: 4.9/5

Pros:
  • removes makeup effectively without irritation
  • non-greasy
  • everything about it is adorable
  • fragrance free
  • decent price
Cons:
  • the cap can be leaky

  7. Super, super cute. I see this one actually says 'make up'. I notice with translations, a lot of those products end up being called 'eye and lip remover', etc. Which is scary. Haha.
