Etude House Color POP Shine Tint (Swing Pop) Swatch & Review

I received this tint as a part of my Reddit beauty exchange, and I quite like it! It's not the best tint ever, but it's a unique color and moisturizes nicely, so I cannot really complain. I also want to apologize for the delay in posting, just been busy with moving and settling in! I'm still around though!!!

Where to buy:
roseroseshop.com - $6.80
koreadepart.com - $8.43
jolse.com - $9.98
f2plus1.com - $9.99
testerkorea.com - $7.50

Description: 3 in 1 magic tint that is light as tint, moisturized as gloss and vivid as lipstick.Your lips remain gorgeous with excellent long lasting power for hours. Spreads onto lips smoothly and creates moisturized and flexible lips without stickiness.

Claims:
3-in-1 acts as a tint, moisturizes like a lip gloss, and is as vivid as a lipstick
 long-lasting
 non-sticky

Packaging: Unfortunately, quite disappointing. It felt very cheap, and the label was literally just a clear plastic sticker that was stuck onto a cheap white container. It wasn't printed on or anything. Dirt can collect around the edges of the label, where the glue comes undone... :/ Just very meh in quality compared to some other tints you can get for the same price. The top unscrews to reveal a little brush-thing applicator. It works well, no complaints there.

Swatch: The Swing Pop color is a really nice orangey-red, maybe a bit coral? I did not have any colors similar to this in my collection, so I was super happy with it. The tint has a creamy texture that spreads easily, and the texture also means you don't have to worry about blending it immediately like with other tints.

Results: It is a lot more vivid in real life than in these pictures- and a bit more orangey. Regardless, as you can see it is moisturizing with a slightly glossy finish. I think it looks natural whiel still providing good pigmentation. It's not comparable to some tints in terms of strong color, but it's great for a more natural look.

It feels nice on, as it's non-sticky and doesn't taste weird or anything. Unfortunately, it doesn't have that great of lasting power in comparison to other tints I've tried (like Peripera tints). I would say it only lasts 1-2 hours before it wears off, due in part to the cream itself causing most of the color rather than any actual tinting going on (if that makes sense???). I don't think I would repurchase it, but I've definitely enjoyed using it while I've had it-

Conclusion: Final Score 4/5
Pros:
  • good price
  • moisturizing
  • vivid color
Cons:
  • cheap packaging
  • unimpressive lasting power (1-2 hours)

  1. I love the color! It looks so natural and has a peachy color. It does really make your lips look more lively and it's not that pricey too! I might try this out when my current lip tint is empty and when I need a new one haha Thanks for the review~! :)

  3. Im actually holding myself back from buying this product bc of the packaging. Besides, it's pretty expensive for the lasting power of a tint!! :c

  7. Interestingly it doesn't look as pigmented on you as it did on me. I also found the wear time quite good. Then again, I got a slightly different colour, so they might be hit or miss.

  8. I love orangey corals, they can be super flattering. For the price this seems a good buy :) My lips are pretty dry all the time so this could be quite helpful! xx

  10. Ooh thank you for the review ^.^ It's a shame that the packaging is so shabby though, and the product seems to be decent quality too... sadness :/
