Summer Wishlist 2015

Hi to any of my readers left. I figured I would get back into blogging slowly, with a simple wishlist post! The past year I've neglected my skincare a lot, and that combined with dissertation and exam stress has lead to my skin being significantly worse. Looking over my old blog posts, I was amazed at how good my skin used to look.

So, without further ado, here is my wishlist for the upcoming summer.

Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips Review (PBE102)

This is my first makeup review in quite awhile! I have a serious addiction to MLBB shades of lipsticks, and this one is no exception. While I quite like the lipstick for what it is, it definitely won't suit everyone... More after the jump.

Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel (Benton Review Series #4)

First of all, I made a dumb mistake. I gave this product away about a month ago, thinking I wouldn't review it. But then the person I gave it to left it in a different country so... now I can't get any pictures of it. Very sorry about that, I'll be using official pictures instead.

Anyway, this is the first Benton product I actively disliked, which is realistic I suppose. It would be remarkable if I loved every single product in a series... speaking of which, this is part of my 6-part Benton review series! Feel free to check out the rest.

This review is part of the 6 part Benton review series!
4. Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel
5. Benton Snail Bee High Content Lotion
5. Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream

I'll be adding links to the series at the introduction of each review, look out for them over the next couple weeks!

Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack Review (Benton Review Series #3)

In case anyone is wondering, I'm reviewing the Benton line in the order that I would use them. I use this sheet mask after the essence, because I feel like the consistency of the mask's serum fits there! :)

This review is part of the 6 part Benton review series!

4. Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel

Missha All-Around Safe Block Mild Essence Sun Milk Review

First of all- Happy 1 year anniversary of Kittencuddler! My first blog review was on February 26th, 2013~ My boyfriend and I celebrated by eating kebab. It was a very delicious celebration, haha. Anyway, on to the review.

Using sunscreen daily is probably the best thing you can do to prevent premature aging... and by daily, I mean daily- rainy, sunny, snowy, anything! Even if I go outside for 15 minutes, I make sure to put it on. As such, I have bought and used quite a few different sunscreens, both Asian and Western. I originally purchased Missha All-Around Safe Block Mild Essence Sun Milk during the summer, but due to a misunderstanding you can read about later in the review, I barely used it until this past month. Now that I've gotten a chance to use it more regularly, my opinion of it has definitely changed. More details after the jump!

GMarket Haul #1 (Sulwhasoo, Su:m37)

Sometimes you just get in the mood to haul. And sometimes you just got some money and want to try out nice brands. And sometimes you finally figure out how to use Gmarket. Sometimes...

Anyway yea, that's basically why I did this. It was an interesting experience, and I didn't even have to pay import fees!! I got the Sulwhasoo products from the same store, and the Su:m37 one from a different store. If anyone wants the links just let me know.

 The package!!

The package is opened!!!

My Skincare!!!
Left to Right
Sulwhasoo First Care Serum
Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Emulsion
Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Water
Sulwhasoo Essential Firming Cream
Su:m37° Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

You might have noticed that there are uniform, deep scratches on the Sulwhasoo products. They also did not come with any packaging. I asked on Reddit's r/AsianBeauty community, and someone suggested that it was to prevent them from being returned to a brick and mortar store, since the products were slightly cheaper than retail. I obviously did not know that when purchasing, so I am a bit disappointed since it kind of ruins the initial fancy experience.

But I'm okay with that. The Su:m37° product was packaged and in perfect, new condition. No complaints there. I've been using all of the products for a few days (I know I should patch test first but I don't have sensitive skin and I was excited...) and omggg they're amazingly magical. My skin is so soft and glowy. A proper review will be out in roughly a month's time, so look out for that. :)

Also I bought 20 packages of instant ramen.

Bbbeeenntttooon!! And so begins the second part of this review series. Given that the Benton line has achieved something of a cult status amongst certain beauty communities, I think most of you know how this review will go. Regardless, I still want to post my thoughts on it, even if I'm half a year late. :)
